also here's another thing to consider. when kids are small, they will remember trauma in their own ways. sometimes its "real" other times it's not. either way, it is still real to them. children can also be brainwashed into thinking a trauma occurred when it didn't (this happened to me bc my mom's condition). for adults to criticize children, or young adults (newly turned adults who don't have the experience of actually being a grown adult yet), over he-said-she-said when it relates to highly emotional situations/trauma is in poor taste, especially when done on the internet. Instead of criticizing them because their reality isn't matching yours, maybe listen to them and their narrative. like this ish is actually insane. like why can't adults be adults and allow children to be children? and love those children and listen to them while not criticizing/calling them out/etc on the friggin internet
